Inspection Pricing

Cost should never be the main determining factor in choosing a home inspection company or a home inspector. The least expensive inspector may be the most incompetent, or very good! The most expensive inspector may be excellent, or dramatically overpriced!

The only way to choose your home inspector is through recommendations from satisfied clients and from interviewing the inspector yourself to determine their qualifications. Fortunately for all of our clients, costs for our services fall somewhere near the middle of the scale, which is where we choose to keep them as a benefit to those that hire Home Inspection and Report Services.

Our pricing is based on the sq. footage of the house. Other factors such as the age and condition of the home may at times be considered. Additional charges will apply for any detached buildings or other structures that the client wants to include in the inspection. All inspections are to be paid for on site at the time of the inspection. (In special circumstances, and sometimes as a favor for a real estate agent or client, payments through escrow can be arranged. In such cases, an escrow payment fee will be added to the cost of the inspection.)
